There are many ways to contribute, different to funding. Here we got some examples about what you can do if you really want to help without donating.

1.Donate your time.

By Volunteering we may see real changes as a result of our efforts. We may even witness the effects that our efforts have on others in our community. When we volunteer, we know that we are helping others by giving our time and resources.

2. Donate your Knowledge.

Even if you don't think you have any expertise, organizations need all kinds of help. Anything you can do that will save on expenses, helps tremendously. From answering phones, offer to pick up donations or drive on field trips; for organizations sending out mailers, stuffing enveloped helps; doing data entry; Painting their buildings; helping build and/or maintain a website; expertise is always welcomed.

3. Donate things that you don´t need anymore.

This may sound cliché but is true, that when you donate the stuff you are not using, you can help a lot of people because there are many people that might need what you don´t even use. Many charities and nonprofits accept donated goods, including clothes, shoes, furniture, and cars. If you have some stuff to get rid of, consider giving it to a good cause rather than throwing it out.

4. Help raising funds

You can raise funds for charity in many ways—by organizing a local collection, sharing your favorite causes on social media, or participating in a sponsored walk. If you have a network of caring people and some hustle, you can raise a hefty donation.

5. Ask for gift donations

If your friends and loved ones often ask you for birthday or holiday gift ideas, you can ask them to donate to a favorite charity instead. Many charities make it easy to set up a campaign to gather birthday donations for their organization.

6. Help host and/or organize a fundraising event for your favorite organization.

7. Charity Miles

Charity Miles is a great fitness app with a twist. Along with helping you track your workout, it will donate to your chosen charity $0.25 for each mile you walked or $0.10 for each mile you biked. You can see the sponsor ads in the app that will donate the money on your behalf.

8. GoodSearch

It’s an ad-supported search engine that donates 1 penny to your desired charity for each search you make in it. You can set GoodSearch as your default search engine to donate every time you need to search something online. It uses Google custom search for results and there are dozens of charities you can choose from.

Everything you do to help an organization makes a difference. The support you provide has a ripple effect. It helps the organization, the individuals it serves, their respective families, their communities, and it helps you. It is impossible to make others feel good without feeling good yourself. Keep it up! Your support impacts the lives of many!
